Malabar Dance Crew - Terms and Conditions

BY ALLOWING MY CHILD/CHILDREN TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASSES AT MALABAR DANCE CREW I AGREE :

  • All fees must be paid in advance and all missed classes must be paid for. Full term fees are due in Week 1 of Term. Any fees received on or after Monday, Week 3 of Term will incur a $25 late fee unless a payment plan was arranged prior to the due date.

  • Malabar Dance Crew only operates during school terms and is closed during on public holidays and on days where school use of the hall is required. If classes are missed during these periods, Week 10 is for make up classes for these occasions. If this happens on 2 or more occasions in one term students are welcome to do an age appropriate class to make up the class(es) missed (excluding term 4).

  • No refunds or discounts are given for missed classes.

  • All fees are based on a 9 week Term (excluding Term 4). Fees may be subject to change at any time.

  • If fees are not paid in full, your child will be restricted from participating in Malabar Dance Crew classes, rehearsals and performances/concerts until the outstanding amount is paid. 

  • I agree that refunds are not accessible or applicable in relation to my, and/or my child’s tuition if classes are missed and/or participation ceases.

  • When you enrol at Malabar Dance Crew you are holding a position for the year and are committed to our end of year Concert and the related rehearsals.

  • Our Malabar Dance Crew uniform is compulsory for all students. Please ensure your children attend classes in full uniform with their hair safely secured back and the correct footwear. 

  • Please inform us immediately if your details (phone/email/name) change. We will not be held responsible for being unable to contact you.

  • I allow Malabar Dance Crew to use the name and any photographs, sound and film recordings of myself/my child/my ward to be used for the promotion of Malabar Dance Crew on our website, social media and local advertisements. If I do not agree to this term I will contact Malabar Dance Crew via email.

  • I understand that although Malabar Dance Crew will attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury  within practical boundaries, accidents do happen and all physical activities carry the risk of personal injury. I understand that there is an inherent risk of personal injury in physical activities that will be undertaken as part of this program. I acknowledge that by allowing my child to participate in a class, no responsibility or liability for either personal injury or financial/property damage in any way whatsoever arising directly or indirectly from any activity undertaken at or on behalf of Malabar Dance Crew by myself/my child shall be accepted by Malabar Dance Crew or it’s employees or agents. I am aware that it is my responsibility to assess the extent of my/my child/my ward’s involvement in this program when deciding whether additional insurance cover, above that provided by Medicare, is required. 

  • In case of emergency, I authorise Malabar Dance Crew staff, where it is impractical to communicate with me, to arrange for my child/my ward to receive such medical treatment as may be deemed necessary. I also undertake to pay or reimburse costs which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and drugs administered while my child/my ward is with the program.

  • I accept that I have been provided with a risk warning on behalf of Malabar Dance Crew. I understand that as a consequence of this risk warning, Malabar Dance Crew does not owe myself/my child any legally binding duty of care. 

  • I have explained to my child(ren) the behaviour that is expected of them to ensure their safety in undertaking any activity at or on behalf of Malabar Dance Crew. I take full responsibility for my child’s conduct whilst participating in any activity at or on behalf of Malabar Dance Crew.

  • I warrant that all information on enrolment form is correct and true.
