Miss Steph has been dancing since the age of 2 and trained at Langshaw Dancity under the professionalism of Bernadette Langshaw-Clark, Karen Mortimer, PJ Clarke & Kate Larter.
She has performed as part of the 2009 Military Tattoo and has been a back up dancer for Australian Idol, The Potbelliez, Bonnie Anderson, Macklemore and Jessica Mauboy.
Miss Steph is in her 9th Season with the NRL where she has had the opportunity to travel to America to train under some of the biggest NBA and NFL choreographers. She currently cheers as part of the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids and is a former cheerleader for St George Illawarra Dragons, NBL Illawarra Hawks and Sydney Kings.
Throughout her professional years Steph worked hard to be part of the NRL squad performing at Grand Finals and State of Origin Series. She was also titles NRL Cheerleader of the Year in 2012 and Cronulla Sharks Mermaid of the Year in 2017.
Miss Steph continues her professional dance career with JLD.entertainment at race days and corporate events while extending her degree in psychology and running Malabar Dance Crew.
Miss Steph believes in a positive learning environment and life long friendships being made at Malabar Dance Crew. Student wellbeing and safety is her number one priority. Miss Steph lives her dream of teaching the next generation of dancers in a positive and enjoyable environment.

Miss Bella has been working professionally in the dance industry for the past 5 years.
She trained in classical RAD ballet at Kim Harvey School of Dance and after graduating high school she completed two years of full time dance training.
She studied at Ev and Bow and completed her Cert 4 in Dance and then received her Diploma of Musical theatre from Brent Street.
During her years studying dance she appeared in music videos and on The Voice as a backup singer as well as performing at corporate functions. She is trained in Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop and Commercial styles and loves to teach the next generation of upcoming dancers her skills.
She is currently finishing her degree in Journalism while she works in the performing arts. Bella enjoys sharing her industry experience with the next generation of performers at Malabar Dance Crew.
Head Dance Teacher Junior & Intermediate
Emily began dancing at the age of 5 in genres including, jazz, GWT, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, RAD ballet, musical theatre, technique and conditioning.
Emily has recently graduated in 2018 from Ettingshausens Pro where she received her Cert IV in Dance. She worked with many industry influencers including, Kelley Abbey, Cassandra Bartho, Sophie Holloway, Stephen Tannos, Gaynor Hicks, and Carly Cooper-Smith.
Emily has been an extra in ‘The Voice’ and ‘Dance Boss’ 2018 series. She has also been a featured dancer on a Maltese talk show ‘Eli & I’ in 2016. Emily has been involved in many corporate theatre events such as Christmas show parades, charity performances, and productions.
Emily will continue to grow as a dancer, teacher and choreographer by attending open classes and auditions to gain experience from industry professionals.
Preschool Department Coordinator
Jess has been dancing since the age of 3, training in all styles and completing her RAD ballet exams. She furthered her training in 2018 completing a full time dance course at Village Nation, working with industry professionals such as Matt Lee and Jacqui Howard.
In 2019 she was part of the Dream Dance Company Show Business course under the guidance of Marko Panzic. Jess has professional experience dancing for the Voice Australia, Sydney Mardi Gras Parade, Hair Expo Australia, Chinese Moon Festival, a Night with Louie George cabaret show, and various corporate events.
Miss Jess also works in childcare and loves inspiring the next generation, from the little ones up to our seniors. Being able to share her passion for dance and watch them grow as performers is very special to her.
R.A.D Ballet Teacher
Theresia grew up in Jakarta Indonesia and have been dancing ballet since the age of 5 years old. She continued her ballet when she moved to Singapore at the age of 12 and Melbourne at the age of 16. In Melbourne, she trained with Ringwood Ballet Group under the guidance of Rosemary Frost and Susan Massey. She received her intensive classical training there, in RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) syllabus and have completed RAD Grade 6,7,8, Advance Foundation with Distinction. She also completed Advance 1 in 2004.
In 2005, she moved to Sydney and grew her dancing into other styles such as lyrical, contemporary and hip hop.
She has completed her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) in 2015 and is now a R.A.D (Royal Academy of Dance) registered ballet teacher teaching RAD syllabus at Malabar Dance Crew.
When Theresia is not dance teaching she is a full time IT specialist in the corporate world, a 500HR Yoga teacher in Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Pregnancy, Kids and a shodan (Black Belt) in Aikido.
ASHLEY DI BERARDINO
Eisteddfod Co-ordinator & Dance Teacher
Miss Ash has been teaching dance for 7 years and was honoured to have joined the Malabar Dance Crew team in 2019.
Miss Ash has been dancing since she was 4, training in tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and musical theatre. After graduating from high school, Miss Ash made the move from Canberra to Sydney to pursue two years of full time dance at Brent Street obtaining a Diploma in Musical Theatre and Dance.
Miss Ash has had the opportunity to work on tv series "The Voice" as a backing vocalist and has danced alongside artists including Marcia Heines, Cher at the 2018 Mardi Gras and Samantha Jade in a music video. Miss Ash loves teaching the next generation of dancers and hopes to inspire them and bring joy into each lesson.
Administration & First Aid
Trisia is the familiar, friendly face many see around Malabar Dance Crew. With 19 years of dance training Trisia hung up her dancing shoes and is now a business woman and mother of 4. As a qualified Beauty therapist and Hairdresser, Trisia is an asset to both our Elite team and concert team.
Trisia is an assistant teacher and First Aid officer for the high risk classes at Malabar Dance Crew. Trisia is your go to with any non urgent communication around the studio and is able to assist with uniform ordering, enrolment and general enquiries.
Tiana started dancing at the age of 2 and has been student teaching for 4 years. She is one of Malabar Dance Crew's Elite competitor's having competed at over 100 solo eisteddfods with a record of 76 placings in a year.
Tiana has been part of school ensembles as well as having performed at the Sydney Opera House. She is still a student at Malabar Dance Crew and looks forward to a professional dance career in the future.
